I had so much fun with this family!! It was so easy to see the great relationship the kiddos had with their parents and our session also included little stops to explore the park. I love these images in black and white (which I freely admit that I adore over color any day of the week). These family won their session at an auction benefiting Ike who is a little boy who was born very early and is a such a fighter and the Austin Mama Network pulled together to raise money to help their family who not only were facing medical bills but also unemployment. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
Funny story–I first met these two kids about 3 or 4 years ago when we were first deciding to move to Round Rock and while I have seen them a few times since, I was not prepared for tweens. I had a memory of two little kiddos in my mind and instead I found a gorgeous young lady with a sparkling personality and a handsome young man with amazing eyes and curls that will surely cause some broken hearts in a few years. I felt a little old and came home to hug my own little girls a little tighter because I know in seconds flat they will be the be a bubbling 13 year old answering their phone during a photoshoot 🙂
Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with an old friend and catch up while having a great session! Sean wanted some headshots for the theater he performs at so we did some that were a little more interesting than your standard closeup. We had a great time and y’all need to check him at in Annie at The Georgetown Palace Theater starting November 20th.
