Investment:  Creative fees are $150* and cover only for the photographer's time - prints/products are not included. For a limited time, we will be crediting $50 of your creative fee toward any of our packages! Most clients spend between $400 and $1400 depending on the packages and products they purchase. Virtu Photography is now excited to offer wedding packages starting at $1900* for full day of coverage with two photographers. Please contact us for details and watch for the announcement of our new site, Simply Forever. This will be collaborative effort between Virtu Photography and Jennifer Hitt Photography, dedicated to weddings. Our pricing is only during 2010, our introductory year.

*a $50 retainer (for portraits) and a $800 retrainer (for weddings) is due at the time of scheduling in order to reserve your date and time.

Session Information:  We can work either at your home or on location. After you schedule we will have a consultation to discuss locations, clothing, purpose, and other such details regarding your session. Our goal is to provide you with not only a fabulous experience, but portraits that you will treasure for a lifetime. Most sessions last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. Newborn sessions typically take longer to allow for feeding breaks. However, we do not base our sessions on a time limit or a number of images captured—we work until we have met our goal for your custom portrait session.

Scheduling:  It is important to try to schedule your session at a time when you know you and your children will be at their finest. Weather and lighting will make outdoor sessions more time restrictive but in-home sessions can be done most anytime.

For maternity portraits you will want to schedule between weeks 33 - 37 depending on how you are feeling.

For newborn portraits you will want to schedule within the first 2 weeks for the best possible results.

For a limited time, all newborn sessions paid in full receives a free mini maternity session—book early around your due date.

For wedding dates it is best to book as soon as you know your dates as we are only taking limited events this season.

After the Session:  After your session please allow up to 2 weeks for your complete online gallery to be available (we will email you the username and password to your custom gallery). The gallery will be available for 30 days and after that we will charge an additional $25 if we need to repost your gallery. For weddings please allow up to 3 or 4 weeks depending on the size of your event.
